- I am a native born Texan and proud of it. I have 8 children, 2 step-children, and an exchange son from S. Korea. I have 10 grandchildren and several step-grandkids and step ggkids. My family and my faith are the most important things in my life. My oldest child is Brian, who is a Capt. in the Air Force us currently assisting in Haiti. He is an RN. Next is Andrea with her husband, Mike, and son, Mattingly, in Nashville, TN. They are teachers. Then there is Rachel and her husband, Michael, with children Elise, Mikey, Kyrie, Colin. They recently moved back to Texas. Leah recently married Presley at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. They live in Utah. Courtney and husband, Tyler, are also in Utah with their children, Chloe, Talisha, Cara, Tyler Jr, and Carrington Rae. Adam and his wife, Christina, are back in Texas. Adam is currently in the Army and has been to Iraq twice. Lindsey is 19 and is about to venture out somewhat on her own. Jim and I have been married 30+ years--not bad, huh? I love to knit, spin wool and perform on the stage. It is nice to live in an area where theater is so prevalent and handwork is appreciated. I love living in the Texas Hill Country.
